Entitled after receiving a junk email with the same title: This series of work combines the spontaneity of seemingly naïve, childlike freedom and energy with a considered and accomplished balance of structure, line and colour. This achieves a unique and distinctive work of considerable expression and balanced form, a unification of emotional and conceptual process.
This is loosely based on a prickly pear cactus, leading the viewer to consider possible metaphors or symbolism regarding the human psyche.
