Made with 100% Malvasia delle Lipari grapes and macerated for 10 days which gives this wine an amber hue and a structured palate. The flavours are bold and there is a fair amount of body, which is balanced by a saline minerality and nice acidity. Yields are low for Nino, meaning his wines are in short supply, but massive demand. Pair it with seafood and fish. Dry white. Serve at 10-12°C.
Tasting: The wine presents itself as yellow with golden reflections. The palate has notes of fresh fruit with yellow flesh and hints of Mediterranean flowers. The acidity is muted and the wine has a long, rich finish. The grape variety “Malvasia di Lipari” is pure, powerful and finely expressed.
