Passion for craftsmanship is the basis for the development of the traditional Taiwanese lanterns from HKliving and represents the perfect unison of traditional craft with an enduring aesthetic that is as modern as it is timeless.
All lanterns are made in the last traditional craft workshop in the mountains of Taiwan. One worker creates the frame from local bamboo resources, another applies the fabric that gives the frame extra strength, and finally a third craftsman folds the fabric around the frame and brings the piece together. An experienced artist paints each piece individually, by hand. The traditional Taiwanese lanterns are a beautiful and soft addition to your home.
