In 1999, Agnes and René Mosse both studied viticuture and winemaking at the Lycée d’Amboise, where they were taught by two winemakers who became role models: Thierry Puzelat and Christian Chaussard. Rene subsequently worked at Jacky Dallais’ estate in Indre-et-Loire, it was Jacky who helped Rene to work at
various Burgundy estates (while working in Burgundy he and Agnes met Dominique Dérain, Christian Chaussard and François Mikulski). They then settled in Saint Lambert-de-Lattay and set up their own wine estate. The estate
comprises 25 hectares of vines spread over the communes of Saint Lambert-du-Lattay, Savennieres and Beaulieu-Sur-Layon. It is now their sons, Joseph and Sylvestre, who are ‘the bosses’ (since 2019).
TASTING NOTE: Light in colour, a bouquet of red fruits enlivened by white pepper, its initial impact is bright and vivacious, this is a fresh, fruit-driven wine..
