Classic Nero d’Avola flavours of dark almost roasted fruits think black cherries and red and dark plums. There’s some liquorice and then the finish hints at coffee and bitter chocolate.

Winemaking: Manual harvested, destemmed, macerated on skins for 8-10 days, fermented in stainless steel for 8-10 days. Aged in stainless steel vats for 6 months and then wooden barrels for a further 5 months. Undergoes malolactic fermentation. Neither fined nor filtered, small amount of sulphur added at bottling.
